The Golden Boy, Oscar De la Hoya, has decided to hang up the gloves 햄버거 다운로드. Not a surprise, but Oscar, like the recently retired Calzaghe, will stay retired.

And why not retire? Although a big draw, it’s been clear for a while that De La Hoya’s biggest fights are behind him 다운로드.

Along with another certain Hall of Famer, Bernard Hopkins, Oscar still maintains a major interest in boxing with his Golden Boy Productions 김성환 인생.

Oscar, should be a clear Hall of Famer when eligible (five years after retirement), and should be a first ballot inductee.

He has maintained a clean life-style and was our sports biggest draw for a number of years.

Congratulations Oscar, wise move. You’re presence in the ring in these troubled times has been a god-send for boxing.

Thank you.***

This week’s fight is another of those hard to figure fights. Jermain Taylor may have gotten his confidence back with his last win over Jeff Lacy.

Now Taylor has to keep things going against a highly regarded Brit in Carl Froch for the WBC Super Middleweight title.

Undefeated at 24-0 with 19 KO’s, Froch, 31, nicknamed the ‘Cobra,’ hasn’t been an active fighter. His list of opponents are not close to household names. That doesn’t make him a pushover. What it does is make him a tough fighter to predict either for or against.

Taylor, 30, 28-2-1 (17) boasts two close, hard fought wins over Bernard Hopkins, arguably the best pound for pound fighter today.

This fight is at Foxwoods Casino on April 25, and could be a war. Then again it could be an easy, one-sided victory for Taylor.

So when push comes to shove, and you may see a lot of both here, I have to give the nod to Taylor who needs this title as another shot in the arm to get his confidence back.

Taylor by stoppage midway.
