I have many stories and have been blessed to have met the best boxers in world, with my #1 being Sugar Ray Robinson, and the five men who I consider to have been the greatest boxing historians in my lifetime – Al Nelson, Nat Fleischer, Bert Sugar Hank Kaplin, and Don Fraser. They provided a wealth of knowledge beyond belief in the sport that I have personally been attached to for 62 years, and counting.

It is interesting that each of these five legendary historians all have different rankings in order of the greatest boxers P4P of all time. If they all agreed, this topic would become boring. On this much debated subject, here is my own personal ranking of the top dozen (12) greatest P4P boxers, at the height, peak, prime, pinnacle of their respective careers. Listed alphabetically they are Muhammad Ali, Henry Armstrong, Roberto Duran, Joe Gans, Harry Greb, Eder Jofre, Jack Johnson, Benny Leonard, Joe Louis, Carlos Monzon, Willie Pep, and Sugar Ray Robinson.

A month prior to the June 22, 2002 Marco Barrera vs 다운로드. Erik Morales WBC Featherweight Championship, held at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, I spent a grand weekend at Barrera’s training camp in Big Bear, California 다운로드.

I covered the weigh-in and the fight itself in Las Vegas, but it was actually the training camp that I was simply delighted to attend as an in-house guest 다운로드.

Barrera won a unanimous decision, which was the second bout of a trilogy between these two great Mexican warriors.

In their first bout, Barrera lost a split decision on February 19, 2000; and in their third bout, Barrera won a majority decision on November 27, 2004 태국어 키보드 다운로드. World Boxing Hall of Fame 1996 – REVISITED

The World Boxing Hall of Fame began in 1980, and lasted until 2009, with twenty-nine magnificent induction banquet shows 엔트리 코딩 다운로드.

I am happy to have attended fourteen banquets, from 1992 to 2006. During that time period, I was delighted to have met more world boxing champions than I ever imagined 다운로드.

On October 19, 1996, a large group of my friends from the Santa Barbara area all came down to the LAX Marriott Hotel for the program. This was the banquet that was just before I officially became a member of the WBHOF as Board of Director / Boxing Historian 다운로드.

Oscar De La Hoya was named the Fighter of The Year, and the whole event was electric, with many other boxing greats in attendance.
