It is truly a joy to announce that on July 15th this month www.dmboxing.com officially celebrates a milestone … fifteen years online.

The website started back is 2007 and since then I have published 1,894 articles and features world-wide.

It’s absolutely a delight to bring you boxing, as I have produced this site to be the best that I can provide.

Along the way, I have been truly blessed to become acquainted with a wonderful array of fans, with some becoming the closest of friends.

I am also grateful to have a special core group of people that have enhanced the success of the website. First off is John Boitnott, who had the vision to believe in me and was the first webmaster. After serving a trial period learning the mechanics of a website, I am now a proud producer.

There are others in that group who have certainly contributed to the continuing success, and I’ll start with a trio of individuals that are no longer with us (R.I.P.) – may their souls rest peacefully in heaven – Rusty Rubin, Harold Lederman, and Jim Amato. These three have provided a wealth of boxing knowledge to the website.

Rusty was my first writer and featured his monthly column, “In Rusty’s Corner”, and also “Glove2Glove” which offered prayers for the sick, needy, and deceased.

Harold provided his own video shorts called “Hey Harold!” which previewed upcoming major fights to be shown on HBO World Championship Boxing.

Jim was nothing less than brilliant with featured stories on boxers of the past and present. His expertise as a true boxing historian was priceless.

It was back in 2007 that the birth of my website began and I am so grateful to celebrate another year, with many more to come.

I would like to first and foremost offer my sincerest condolences to the family of a true friend, boxing historian and avid sports collector – Jim Amato – who passed away in Ashland, Ohio on February 22, 2021, at the age of 66.

I have met many boxing people and fighters in my over sixty years in boxing and Jim was as wonderful a human being as I have had the pleasure of knowing.  

He came on board with dmboxing.com in 2008 and contributed simply the best of the best in boxing. May his soul rest peacefully in heaven with the Lord.

I am grateful and certainly blessed with a special cast of people that have contributed to the success of dmboxing.com through the years, and their input is priceless. This is “Happy Anniversary” month, as it has now been 13 years since the birth of my website dmboxing.com that first hit the internet world in 2007.

Though the years it has simply been my pleasure to bring you the best in boxing as I know it. My highest priority has always been honesty and creditably. My opinions are strictly my own, with never the intent to change minds of others, with the utmost respect to other opinions and input. Since its beginning I have posted 1,719 publications for viewing.

I have been blessed with a group of people that have helped me to heights beyond my belief.
