The Los Angeles based World Boxing Hall of Fame has suffered the loss of three past Presidents this year 다운로드. Veteran boxer, referee, judge and good guy Lou Filippo passed away just like another old friend and past President Charlie Casas did. It was also this year that another past President left this world, as Norm Cote passed on to his final reward. All of these folks I respected and called friends. All of these were class acts and great people. May God have mercy on their souls.

On November 14th in Las Vegas, the possible fight of the year occurs. On paper this should be an action packed bout. Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto meet at the MGM Grand to determine who will go for the big bucks by taking on Floyd Mayweather 다운로드.

Mayweather looked good in his comeback fight against a tough foe in Juan Manuel Marquez. But like many of his past opponents, age probably played a factor in the win. This is something that would be different if Mayweather fights a younger Cotto or Pacquiao.

No matter the victor, Mayweather thinks that since he is the big draw, he deserves a much larger percentage of the purse. With all due respect to Floyd, the Hispanic fighters will pack them in far more than Mayweather. This of course could give Mayweather an excuse for not fighting either 다운로드.

But that’s a possible story for another day. This week Cotto and Pacquiao get it on for the right to challenge for Mayweather’s top pound for pound title.

The fight between Pac Man, who hasn’t lost since January 21, 2006, to Erik Morales and Cotto, who’s only loss was to Antonio Margarito on July 26, 2008, via an 11th round TKO.

It’s a birthday fight for both the Philippi no southpaw and the Puerto Rican flash in this exciting fight.

Cotto, 34-1 (27) turned 29, on October 28th and Pacquiao 49-3-2 (with 37 KO’s) turns 30 on December 17th 다운로드.

While Cotto has an inch height advantage, both fighters have the same reach, so that pretty much negates any real edge for Miguel.

It’s also the case of an orthodox fighter taking on a southpaw (Pacquiao), who seems to have found more power at the heavier weight. That’s a bit unusual, but certainly not unheard of.

I’ll stick with Pac Man, using his new-found power to stop Cotto with a late TKO.

Is the fight worth the $54.95 asking price for PPV? My guess is that unless there’s an early KO, the fans will get more than their money’s worth here.***

Glove2Glove has lost one of it’s founding members and a great guy in Tom Muldoon, who passed away suddenly in New York. Prayers are requested for his soul.

Also prayers requested for the mother of another G2G member Debbie Wilcox, who passed away from lung cancer. Deborah and her family can use your prayers for her to be strong at this sad moment in her life.

Also prayers the recover of long-time UK manager/promoter Frank Maloney, 55, who reportedly has suffered a heart attack and is in the hospital.

Prayers are asked for the return to health of boxing analyst Nick Charles who is in a Texas hospital suffering from bladder cancer. Nick is a fighter and he has some great folks in his corner.

Prayers for the return to health are asked for boxing guy and friend Ed Milberger or Oregon, who, fairly quietly, has done much to improve the image of our sport.
