Just a reminder: The annual induction of the greats at the International Boxing Hall of Fame will be on June 9 -12, in Canastota NY 다운로드.

Among those expected to be inducted are Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Kostya Tszyu, referee Joe Cortez and a few others.

Well the time has come to take a close look at what might just be one of the most exciting fights of the year 다운로드.

At the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 7th, Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao takes on tough “Sugar” Shane Mosley.

At first glance the odds seem a bit too high at 5-1 content-disposition 다운로드. Mosley, who doesn’t have the hand and foot speed he once did, can still punch and as a natural welterweight, does have the size advantage over Pac Man 스팟파이어 다운로드.

Mosley, 46-6-1 (39) also lost to Floyd Mayweather, who doesn’t seem to have the stones to face the flamboyant Philippine.

At 39, this could be the last big payday for Mosley, but if he wins, all bets are off 창세기전2 다운로드. Shane does have a height and reach advantage over Pacquiao, and has shown a solid chin as well.

So, in my opinion, if the fight goes to the KO route, it goes to Mosley.

At 32, Pac Man, a southpaw, has a record of 52-3 2 with 38 knockouts.

Both fighters need this fight to put an exclamation point on their careers.

At this stage of the game, unless Mosley lands a solid punch, I like Pacquiao to go the distance and win a unanimous decision.

Rusty Rubin, formerly the award winning managing editor of Ringsports.com as well as the now defunct Ringsports Magazine, is the author of three highly acclaimed boxing books! “Woozel, Boxing and Me”, “Off the Canvas” and “Billy Soose, the Champion Time Forgot” co-authored by Tom Donelson. These books are all available at Authorhouse.com, and all major book retailers. They are all more than worth the purchase price, or contact me via this website for a personally autographed copy at a small extra charge.

Please allow me to recommend, two other great books, the “Arc of Boxing” by Mike Silver and “My Life among the Icons” by Johnny Ortiz.

In these hard economic times, any or all of these books will make an excellent and inexpensive presents to the boxing fan(s) in your life. They are especially appreciated gifts if the recipient is tired of watching re-runs of sit-coms and the far-less than significant reality shows. Being laid-up a bit of late, I should know. Where’s the Gillette Cavalcade of Sports when you need it? Make your friend or loved one ‘look sharp’, ‘feel sharp’ and be ‘sharp.’ So how’re you fixed for books? You’d better check.

You and the book-gift recipient will be glad you made the right choice (or the write choice)!
