In Rusty’s Corner

Rusty Rubin is a veteran boxing writer

First, allow me to remind always keep in mind the U.S. veterans and our troops at home and overseas not only on Veterans Day, but always…. A thank you for your service means a lot to our men and women who give their all to keep America the greatest country in the world.

Secondly, I request that all readers refer to the end of this column and also do their share to help myself and others in the fight against cancer 다운로드.

Two fights of major significance on the agenda this weekend.

The first from Nottingham, England and Pay-Per-View, for the IBF Super Middleweight title, featuring Carl Froch who will be taking on a tough Philly fighter (aren’t they all)? in Yusef Mack.

Froch 29-2 with 21 knockouts, will be fighting in his hometown, while Mack, 31-4-2 (17), takes his boxing ability on the road.

These two fighters match up well, although Mack, at 32, is three years younger, and has the problem of overcoming the scoring problems that will be created by taking this fight in the U.K.

Mack hasn’t fought any real names, but Froch seems to be on the downside of his career. The punch is the last thing to go in a fighter, so I don’t see anyway that Mack can win here rcs. Froch by a close decision or knockout.***

The other fight of importance will be Brian Viloria taking on tough Mexican southpaw flyweight Herman Marquez for the WBA and WBO flyweight championship.

Viloria, at 31, will be giving up seven years in age to Marquez, 34-2, (25), but has a four inch reach advantage, which should but his educated jab to the test here. He comes in with a 31-3 record with 18 knockouts.

It’s not going to be an easy fight for Viloria, as Marques can bang away. The key to Marquez winning is going to be if he can get inside the jab, put Viloria on the ropes and use his power 123d design 맥 다운로드.

If he can do so, he wins by kayo, if not Viloria by decision. It’s a big IF.

My pick is Viloria by a unanimous decision.
