For my wedding present to David Martinez, along with my congratulations and support, I offer this column.

Martinez
The fight is a challenging one to predict. The one thing we can say with reasonable certainty is that it will be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on October 18.

This is a fight between the strong European power puncher Genedy Golovkin and veteran Marco Antonio Rubio 전참시 다운로드.

Rubio, 34, has a two year advantage on Golovkin, stands a half inch shorter and shares the same reach. No real advantage for either one.

The hard-punching Golovkin is 30-0, with 27 coming by way of knockouts. Rubio has more experience with a 59-6-1 mark and 51 knockouts, certainly no slouch.

This fight is for WBA super middleweight title, the IBO middleweight championship and the interim WBC middleweight title.

So how do you predict a fight like this 다운로드? Rubio has fought better foes, but he is growing a bit long in the tooth and all those fights probably has taken a bit out of him.

All the stats are pretty much the same, and I don’t like predicting draws. Will Golovkin’s power make the difference, or will Rubio’s experience save the day?

I’ve got to go somewhere here, so I’ll just predict that youth must be served. Golovkin by knockout.***

On a further newsworthy issue, my good friend and head of the BWAA for twenty years is stepping down after doing yeoman’s work for the eight extra rounds 다운로드. He goes out a winner. Well done, Jack.

A couple of tough losses for our sport as great boxing guy and good friend, promoter Dan Goossen succumbed to liver cancer at age 64.

Please say prayers for Phill Grazide of Santa Rosa, CA. a big supporter of amateur boxing, who is suffering the crippling effects of rheumatoid arthritis.

Glove2Glove, which had been a long-time integral part of the recently defunct Ringsports.com magazine and website. It is a wonderful program that I wish to have continued a long after I have left the sport and this earth. I want to thank Dave and Deborah Wilcox, who have offered to take over the program and promised to continue it indefinitely. Their generous offer means a lot to me. We always welcome new members.***

Thanks and God bless.***

“I WOULD LIKE TO URGE THAT ALL OF MY MANY FRIENDS TO LIST THE FOLLOWING INFO ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PAGE AS WELL AS YOUR E-MAIL.

“HAVING BEEN BLESSED WITH SO MANY GREAT AND CARING PEOPLE IN MY LIFE, I HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO GET INVOLVED WITH NETWORKING; I’M JUST TOO DAMN TIRED AND OLD FOR THAT, ALTHOUGH I KNOW IT’S FOR A GOOD CAUSE AND THAT NETWORKING IS THE BEST WAY TO GET THE WORDS OUT.

“HENCEFORTH, ALL PROFITS FROM THE SALE OF ANY OR ALL OF MY BOOKS WILL GO TO THE SUSAN G. KOMAN FOUNDATION, AND BE USED TO FIND A CURE FOR BREAST CANCER.

“I ALSO PROPOSE A CHALLENGE TO ALL OTHER JOURNALISTS, BOXING OR OTHERWISE, TO DO WHAT THEY CAN TO SUPPORT ME IN THIS EFFORT. IT’S ALSO  A CHANCE TO CHANGE THE PUBLIC OPINION OF THE WORKING PRESS AND OUR SPORT, AS WELL AS DOING SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR WORLD.

“I now found just enough time to finish my final tome, “From Heaven with Love”, which, God willing, will bring the world so much closer to finding a cure for cancer as well as improve the lives of others. This book is at the publisher and should be out the end of the year. All proceeds will be used to find a cure for cancer.***

Finally, “My 2014 New Year’s resolution, besides living long enough to finish my book, which the Lord allowed me to accomplish, was to spend the rest of my life by helping others, and I really need everyone’s help to do that. Just by putting a smile on someone’s face helps to heal, not to mention giving yourself an uplifting feeling.

Please step into the ring with me, even when I’m gone, to add power to all the voices that are crying out for a cure for dread diseases.

Keep punching, always….Rusty
