On Saturday night undefeated British heavyweight Anthony Joshua (16-0 / 16 by KO) defeated previously unbeaten Charles Martin (23-1-1 / 21 by KO) by second round knockout to win the IBF heavyweight title. The bout was shown on Showtime from the O2 Arena in London, England.

As the fight started Joshua clearly won round one by simply landing the harder and more accurate punches. In round two Joshua floored Martin twice with devastating right hands, with the second knockdown being the end. Martin got up at the referee’s count of nine, but the correct call was made to end the fight. Time was 1:52 of round two.

Although still not proven, there is one thing that is clear – Joshua can punch having all of his sixteen wins coming by knockout!
