For those of you that are on the west coast – this Saturday June 21 will be the next big boxing venue of interest, which is, the annual California Boxing Hall of Fame induction ceremonies 2008.

The event will be held in the Los Angeles area at the Sportsmen’s Lodge, 12833 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA

Inductees this year include: Mando Ramos , Paul Banke, Joey Oliva, Ben Lira, Jackie Kallen, Israel Vazquez, Johnny Ortiz, Andy Nace, Alberto Sandoval, Jack Mosley, Joe Valverde, Allen Syers, Pat Connolly, Steve Beljan, John Hall, Orlando De La Fuente, Steve Harpst, Michele Chong, Docusen Brothers Bernard and Maxie.

In the Posthumous Category inductees are: Eddie Futch, Keeny Teran, Larry Rozadilla, Jackie McCoy, and Joe Louis.
