The Governor has finally spoken….. so after 16 months the wait is finally over for fight fans in Orange County and all of Southern California as the premier hybrid Southern California fight show, Fight Club OC, is back in business and ready to rock The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa. |
Mark your calendar for Thursday, August 26th as the 2021 edition of Fight Club OC will be unveiled and the new look might just “knock you out”, no pun intended!
Do not delay in getting your tickets as pro fighting returns to the OC and this show is guaranteed to sellout! All tickets are live and available for purchase now at www.socafights.com
… And more good news is that we will have NO COVID RESTRICTIONS at the show!
To make up for the loss of the five shows in 2020, promoter Roy Englebrecht announced that he will stage five Fight Club OC shows in 2021 starting with the August 26th show, with other Thursday shows set for September 23rd, October 14th, November 11th, and December 2nd .
The boxing action on August 26th should be electric as we have at least three hungry local area fighters making their Pro Debut’s. If you know how we match fights you know you are in-store for something special. Stepping in the ring for their first time will be Cain Sandoval from Santa Ana making his Boxing Pro Debut against Santa Ana’s John Ornelas. Richard Sonny Robledo from the San Fernando Valley will face Christian Marron in a 145lb Super Lightweight battle and Jesse “Lobito” Gonzalez from Santa Ana, also debuting, will face an opponent TBA shortly.
On the Mixed Martial Arts side of the card we have some wars in-store for this welcome back show. Fans will see Andrew Freelove out of Subfighter MMA go up against Combat Submission Wrestling’s Nick Patea. This fight set at 145lbs will surely entertain all in attendance. Not to be outdone will be a 115lbs female bout featuring Alandria Brown out of Los Angeles vs. Daniela Espinosa fighting out of Mission Viejo. This is a night of high intensity combative sports action you surely do not want to miss!
Tickets will sell out as this is our first show back out of COVID-19 “Jail-Time” so let’s all gather, grab some beers, smoke a cigar, rub elbows and watch some fights again. Tickets are available now online for purchase at www.socafights.com

Englebrecht Promotions Events will stage five Fight Club OC shows with 2021 Thursday dates now set for August 26 “As much as I want to get back to putting on Fight Club OC shows and to satisfy the many fans who have been in touch with me wanting to get back to attending, I didn’t want to rush things too early and then have to cancel a show,” said Englebrecht. “I believe that by June most people will have been vaccinated and will feel comfortable attending with other fans, plus the state should be allowing fans to attend sporting event by that time.”
