In this edition of “Pages From The Scrapbook” features my pre-fight article piece – dated March 18, 1983 – on Michael Spinks vs. Dwight (Braxton) Muhammad Qawi for the WBA/WBC Light Heavyweight Championship.

Many of my loyal readers don’t know that back in the seventies, eighties, and nineties, I was a boxing beat writer for my local newspaper, the Santa Barbara News Press, doing fight predictions. I also frequently did guest commentary on local radio for all the major fights.
