Been a strange holiday for this old guy and a lot of questions I have to answer.
First, while I did not vote for the induction of Mike Tyson for the International Hall of Fame (not without a designation that he performed under the influence of performance enhancing drugs), he got it anyway, and, record wise, it was well deserved 쇼미더머니4 노래 다운로드.
Let me assure everyone that I had nothing to do with the voting for Sylvester Stallone, as I don’t vote for anyone in the expanded category. One of my hopes for the New Year is that boxing produces far more Manny Pacquiao’s and far less Floyd Mayweather’s 뮤직 천국 다운로드.
To be fair, Mayweather’s legal troubles are small compared to many other athletes who have been in a bit of trouble with the law, but as an undefeated champion he should represent our sport far better outside of the ring.
I have to believe that Mayweather is afraid to put his undefeated tag on the line by fighting Pacquiao. If he fights Pacquiao and loses, he stands to lose a lot of value for future fights 다운로드.
Right now Pac Man is scheduled to face Shane Mosley in Vegas on May 7th. Why? Good question. But when you look at the top fighters who Pacquiao can fight, there’s not much out there. It’s the sad state of boxing at the present time. It has to get better; I just hope it’s soon.

As for Mayweather, to be fair, as in other professions, boxers almost get unwanted media attention for what they do wrong then what they do right.***
Another often discussed problem with pugilism is that ex-great Evander Holyfield, and a host of other pretenders refuse to retire from the sport. They are making boxing the laughing stock of sports, and that really isn’t all that difficult to do.

What our sport needs more of are class acts, who travel to the fights, sign some autographs and shake some hands, former champs Ernie Terrell and Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini are great examples of such a past great. And, there are far more good guys in the pugilistic world than bad.

Please say prayers for the souls of: tough guy, Bennie Briscoe, Helen Dundee (wife of Angelo); Henrietta King, (promoter Don’s wife) 87; former middleweight with a big punch, Danny Nardico, 85; South African light heavyweight Herbert (The Hawk) Hlubi and Charles Scioli, 97, a well known celeb in both amateur and pro boxing. Add to this list a younger ex-fighter named Eddie Vick.
Prayers are requested for the health of outstanding trainer Joe Sousa, who is fighting the fight of his life against cancer.
Prayers are requested for the return to health of former women fighter Christy Martin who is recovering in Florida.
Prayers requested for the return to health of Archie Wright, 2, who wandered into some dangerous substances.
Prayers for the complete return to good health to my old friend, promoter, and ex-wrestler Jack ‘Moe’ Smith who had complete reconstructive knee surgery a couple of weeks back. Moe’s a fighter and making a complete recovery.
Tough fighter and great competitor Scott LeDoux, who was always in shape (as I prefer to remember him). Scott has ALS and has been given less than six months to live.
Sad to report that Genaro Hernandez’ cancer has returned. We ask for your prayers to help “Chicanito” in his battle against this relentless foe.
