In Rusty’s Corner

I was a bit surprised by Pacquiao’s early stoppage of Ricky Hatton, not that he won or scored a TKO, but the power that I didn’t really expect as he moved up in weight 다운로드. It probably will take another tune-up fight to keep him sharp enough for Floyd Mayweather who looms on the horizon.

Mayweather has taken a lot of time off and expects to show his ring prowess against a very tough Juan Manuel Marquez 다운로드. The match-up is far from a gimme for Mayweather, but that’s a subject for another column.

This weeks fight is in Las Vegas, between veteran Antonio Tarver and top contender Chad Dawson, for the IBF light heavyweight crown 다운로드.

The action, or possibly lack of, will be shown on HBO TV.

When I write ‘lack of’ is because Tarver is another one of those fighters that you really can’t predict. He can be hungry and awesome in the ring, or lackadaisical. So you never know which Tarver you’ll see.

Dawson is a solid and certainly more predictable fighter. He’ll bring it, even if Tarver doesn’t.

I’ll go with the younger fighter, Dawson, by a close decision.***
