My dear best of friends George Garcia, age 60,  passed away peacefully at his home in Montebello, California on August 13, 2015 after his battle with cancer.  George was a special friend because he was giving and the kindest of people that I have ever known 다운로드.

We met about twenty years ago through the boxing circles.  He attended many World Boxing Hall of Fame banquets during my ten year (1997-2007) tenure on the Board of Directors 다운로드.

The month of April has a special meaning for me both in a happy and sad way 다운로드.

I was honored, on the evening of October 16, 2003 when Ernie was inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame, to be his presenter.  I remember that night as if it was yesterday and I will always treasure that moment in time.  At the very top left hand side of the banner for this website, you will see the photo taken on his special night 요괴워치 색칠공부 다운로드.

Frankie-cropApril 7th is the anniversary of the passing of my best friend Frankie Rivas.  In 2009 I tearfully, but honorably, delivered the eulogy at St 다운로드. Raphael’s church for his funeral service.  As well as boxing as an amateur himself, Frankie was the truest boxing fan I have ever known.  He was always there with me as a referee or judge at many boxing shows in our community, and gave his support to the kids in local boxing gyms.  I have known Frankie since my childhood days and in memory of his death (I say), “May his soul rest in peace with the Lord in heaven” ahn lab 무료 다운로드.

On June 4, 2012, at the age of 87, Enrique Bolanos, top contender, passed away.  I never saw him fight, but had the pleasure to meet him and his lovely wife Ruby at various boxing venues.  According to people I know that saw him fight, he was a magnificent boxer that packed southland arenas and stadiums in the Los Angeles area like no other in the golden era of boxing (the 40’s and 50’s) 올미다 다운로드.

Jake LaMotta – R.I.P.

On September 20, 2017 Jake La Motta, middleweight champion whose epic fights with Sugar Ray Robinson are legendary, passed away at the age of 95 윈도우 gcc 다운로드.

LaMotta was known as the Raging Bull and he fought in 106 bouts in a 14 year colorful brawling career. His Fame led to Martin Scorsese’s 1980 movie Raging Bull, that was nominated for eight Academy Awards and in which Robert DeNiro won best actor for his portrayal of LaMotta 다운로드.

He fought, who I and top boxing historians consider the greatest fighter of all time, Sugar Ray Robinson six times – twice in a three week span in 1943 마리오 카트 8.  LaMotta won only once, in their second fight which was a 10 round decision, giving Robinson his first loss after 40 straight wins.  This would be Robinson’s only loss in his first 132 professional fights 3ds max 2018 download. Boxing has lost a great champion 다운로드. On September 3, 2017, Cuban featherweight Ultiminio “Sugar” Ramos passed away in Mexico City from cancer complications. Born in Matanzas, Cuba, he was 75 years old 책 파일 다운로드.
 
Ramos is most remembered for two ring deaths, one inspiring a Bob Dylan song.  On March 21, 1963, Ramos and champion Davey Moore traded vicious punches in a scheduled 15 round featherweight title fight at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, that was witnessed by 26,142 in attendance 국기에 대한 맹세.

Lou Duva – R.I.P.

On March 8, 2017, Lou Duva  passed away from natural causes at St 다운로드. Joseph’s Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey. He was 94 years old.   

Lou had a remarkable career as a trainer, handling nineteen world champions 다운로드. Some of the boxers, just to name a few, that Lou was involved with were Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Meldrick Taylor, Michael Moorer, Arturo Gatti, Mark Breland, Lennox Lewis, Rocky Lockridge, Bobby Czyz, Johnny Bumphus, Tony Tucker, Mike McCallum, Vinny Pazienza, Hector Camacho, Fernando Vargas, Andrew Golota, Alex Ramos, Livingstone Bramble, Tony Ayla Jr., and Joey Giardiello who was his first world champion  in 1963 다운로드.

Last month the boxing world lost a friend, Maurice “Dub” Harris, who passed away peacefully on June 27, 2011 at the age of 94 다운로드. He was a highly decorated veteran of the United States Army serving in both World War II and the Korean War.

Dub, along with Everett Sanders (original founder), Charlie Casas, and Gordon Del Faro, was one of the charter members of the World Boxing Hall of Fame that started in 1980 오버로드 13권 다운로드. Dub served five terms as president (1982), (1985), (1989-1990), (1995-1996), (1997-1998). Dub remained active as Chairman of the Board and President’s Advisor until failing health in 2005 forced him to depart the World Boxing Hall of Fame after twenty five years of dedicated service with the goal to always strive for excellence google play service.

On September 7, 2016, one of the most exciting, fan friendly boxers I have known, in my 55 years in boxing, passed away – two time featherweight champion Bobby Chacon 다운로드. He was a friend to many, including myself, and was 64 years old at the time of his passing.
